Since graduate school, I have been interested in exploring how people learn and what motivates them in order to design memorable learning experiences that enhance learning, retention, and performance. Not only do I have formal education in teaching and learning, I also have experience developing and implementing innovative and engaging instruction for adults in virtual, hybrid, and in-person learning environments. I've worked as a college lecturer and assistant professor in addition to training employees while working as a researcher and DNA analyst. In these positions, I have a track record of using evaluation and data from multiple sources to drive instructional decisions that improved learner performance in targeted areas. I also have a strong background in project management as I've worked to lead teams from the start of a project to the finish line.
